Botella, Point of Contact, (215) 233-6551, fax (215) 233-6558 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials necessary be provided for the Replacement of the Fire Alarm Systems at the ARS facilities in Ithaca and Geneva, New York. SIC Code is 1731, NAICS is 23531, with a size standard of $7.0 million dollars for the past three years. This is a total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Subpart 19.5 and the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program in Subpart 19.10. The estimated cost of construction is between $50,000 and $100,000. This project must be completed within 90 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The work includes replacement and/or expansion of the existing fire detection and alarm system to include fire protection of personnel and the existing greenhouse and headhouse facilities plus testing of the new systems in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings contained in Solicitation RFQ 08-3615-00 and will be available on or about June 27, 2000.
