This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-QZ007) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code for this solicitation is 3089. FAR 19 classifies small businesses as those that gross equal to or less than $5.0 million annually based on the average of the offerors past three fiscal years. Offerors shall submit their quote according to the following referenced CLINS. The item description is as follows: To provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to providethe following required line items: CLIN 0001 -1 12_ aggregate for concrete; 590 TN; CLIN 0002 -- fine wash sand for concrete; 356 TN; CLIN 0003 -- Type II Base material; 3800 TN. This solicitation will be awarded using Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) procedures where past performance is more important than price. Past performance will be determined by evaluating the responses to the past performance questionnaire from the potential offerors last five commercial and governmental customers.
