This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quotations; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ00Q066 is issued as a Request for Quotation through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This is an unrestricted procurement. The SIC code is 3661 and the small business size standard is 1,000. The United States Secret Service ("USSS") has a requirement for Nokia cellular telephones and accessories. The requirement is as follows: Line Item 0001: Quantity of four hundred (400) Nokia Model No. 5160 cellular telephones, which shall include one (1) standard battery per unit; Line Item 0002: Quantity of four hundred (400) Model No. LCH-9 vehicle power adapters (rapid cigarette lighter chargers) for the Nokia Model No. 5160; Line Item 0003: Quantity of two hundred (200) Model No. BMS-2S standard NiMH batteries (900mAh) for the Nokia Model No. 5160; and Line Item 0004: Quantity of two hundred (200) Model No. CSF-1 leather cases to accommodate the Nokia Model No. 5160, which shall provide a belt clip and telephone and keypad coverage. Wireless service will not be obtained under this requirement. No substitutions will be accepted.
