The County of Sacramento has been designated as the Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) under the Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC). Airfield services will be provided by the LRA at USCG Air Station Sacramento, McClellan AFB, California. The LRA will provide all management, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, parts, maintenance and repair, training, transportation and written deliverables for the provision and maintenance of: runways, taxiways, clear-zones, ramps and aircraft parking areas, Navigational Aids to Support Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Operations, Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS), Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) and airfield management services. Period of performance is 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001, with three, one-year priced options. The solicitation will be issued on or about 12 June 2000 with a 30-day response time.
