Frank, 703-875-6990 The US Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management, proposes a sole source procurement from Motorola, Inc., Hanover, Maryland, for acquisition of training services for the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. The training services are the follow-on requirements to the procurement of the wireless equipment, the ASTRO SAMRTNET II Trunking System from Motorola, and are required to provide necessary operational and technical instructions to the Embassy personnel for the operations of this system. Motorola is the equipment manufacturer and has developed the course curriculum, training materijals and the software needed for the training. The training which consists of one-instructor must be conducted at the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, between August 1, 2000 through September 15, 2000.
