The work to be performed consists of furnishing all materials and performing all work necessary to construct a non-load bearing wall, disassemble existing tempered plate glass hand railing and construct an aluminum framed tempered plate glass wall. The work is located at Mt. Elbert Pumped Storage Power Plant, approximately 20 miles southwest of Leadville, Colorado, in Lake County. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages will be made available on or around July 25, 2000. Quotes will be due on August 14, 200 and all work shall be completed in 60 days. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This will be set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1629. The small business size standard is $17.0 million. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to (406) 247-7798.
