The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biosense Webster, a Johnson&Johnson company, for the following piece of equipment. An Electrophysiology Navigational Mapping System designed to acquire, analyze and display electrical anatomical maps of the human heart. Provides a combination of endocardial location and electrical information which is needed to define the anatomical basis and pathway of arrhythmias, identify appropriate ablation sites, and document where lesions have been given. Solicitation packages are available immediately for those companies whos equipment can meet or exceed the specification requirments. The VA intends to acquire the equipment on a lease-to-own basis.
