contract for the design, analysis, preparation of contract drawings,
cost estimate and specifications for bioengineered structures to
enhance fish habitat and stabilize banks along 600-700 ft of Montana
Creek, Juneau AK. The project is located north of Juneau, Alaska off
the Mendenhall Loop Road. The work sites are located in section 2,
T40S, R66E, on the Juneau (B-2) USGS Alaska quadrangle. Sites may be
accessed by foot from Montana Creek Road and trail system. Estimated
price range is $25,000 -- $100,000. The design services will be
procured in accordance with P.L. 92-582 (Brooks Act) an FAR part 36 and
open to all qualified businesses regardless of size. See Numbered Note
24. Special qualifications include knowledge of stream bank
revegetation techniques including coir log and spruce tree
installation, live siltation, brush layering, root wads, and vegetation
transplanting and experience in design of bioengineered structures for
fish habitat restoration. TheScope of Services document is available
