Provide Home Oxygen Services to VA beneficiaries in the catchment area of the VA West Texas Health Care Systems, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 300 Veterans Blvd., Big Spring, TX 79720. The contractor shall furnish medical gases set ups and all related supplies, equipment maintenance, routine checks and repairs, parts, loaner equipment and back up systems. Included in this requirement are patient assessments, follow up visits, home safety checks, patient education, supervision and qualified competent personnel to perform home oxygen services per solicitation statement of work. Service is required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contractor must have a current certificate of accreditation by JCAHO. Contract will be for one year from date of award with 2-1 year renewal options, pending availability of each Fiscal Year appropriations. Solicitation will be available on/a June 26, 2000.
