CONTRACTORS CONFERENCE Subject: Contractors Conference Description: The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) has established July 18, 2000 as the date for the environmental and new contractual requirements conference for privatized prison contract. The INS invites all potential contractors who may be considering participation in INS future procurement actions for low-security privatized beds to attend the conference. The INS will discuss in-depth environmental requirements and provide guidance to potential contractors on complying with the requirements. It is the INS's intent to ensure all interested parties have a clear understanding of these requirements. It is suggested that environmental experts attend with potential contractors.
