LOADING PAD AND RETARDANT SYSTEM SOL R5-12-00-1026 POC Jennie Camacho, Procurement Assistant, 909-884-6634, x3092 Project consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and incidentals to construct the following; 1. Loading Pad: Place 100 by 100 foot reinforced concrete loading pad including the construction of a 90 foot long reinforced concrete drain gutter with a traffic rated iron gate, construction of a concrete block loading support building with appurtenances and all utility hook-up, and an extension of asphalt surface and slurry seal work. The work also includes installation of reinforced concrete utility trench with a traffic rated iron gates and installation of new 6 inch black steel pipe retardant line, approximately 510 feet. 2. Retardant and Catwalk system: Furnish and install a manifold pipe system for the distribution of retardant at the existing mixing plant. The system shall include all steel pipe, valves, fitting and hoses to connect the existing mixing and storage tanks to the existing pump systems. All existing piping at the mixing plant for distribution shall be removed including sectionsof existing concrete block walls. Construct a new catwalk system over existing tanks; extend the guardrail system, walkways and stairs. Project location is approximately 3 miles on Avenue G exit west of State Highway 14, north of Lancaster, California, on 50th Street/William Barnes Avenue. SIC: 1629; 17 million gross.
