SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, General construction contractor services are required at the 179th Airlift Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, 1947 Harrington Memorial Rd,. Mansfield, OH 44903-0179. For construction of a single level, 10,800 SF building which provides space for Security Police Operations and Physical Fitness functions, including a Fitness area, lobby, classrooms, Central Security Control room, Battle Staff area, administrative offices, firearms maintenance & training areas, space for mobility equipment storage, and a mechanical room. The construction contract will include: the Security Police Operations and Fitness building, connection to primary utilities, landscaping & site improvements, minimal pavements & sidewalks, and potential demolition of an existing building including minimal asbestos removal. The Security Police Operations and Fitness building is designed as a single floor, structural steel column and beam construction, masonry block walls with architectural brick siding, standing seam metal roof, with all the communications support included (voice, data, CATV/CCTV, multimedia). The mechanical system includes a natural gas fueled boiler system with Variable Air Volume distribution, Digital controls, and chilled water-cooling. The plumbing system includes separate domestic water, storm, sanitary sewer systems. Electric systems include step-down transformer from primary distribution system, and all low voltage wiring for lighting and power service connections. Communications systems include fire protection, CATV/CCTV, separate police radio system, and integration of building systems to existing voice & data systems on the base. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more that $ 17 Million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This procurement is full and open competition.
