This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/DFRC plans to acquire brand name or equal video testing components: one (1) Leader LV5100DU-601 Serial Digital component WFM, one (1) Leader 5100 Analog Composite & Component Analog HDTV WFM/VS with AC/DC operation capability, one (1) Leader LT425D-Digital component Test Signal Generator, two (2) DPS 470AV-601 Serial Digital component Synchronizer, one (1) Leitch FR 6804-1-2RU/10 Card Frame with Power Supply, Four (4) Leitch VSD6801-1XB Serial Digital Distribution Amplifier, four (4) Leitch AES6880-1X8 AES/EBU Digital Audio DA 75 ohm COAX, one (1) Leader LR2427IU WFM Case LR2427IU Metal WFM Case, and one (1) Leader LR2400VI WFM Case Dual Rackmount Frame with Black Panel. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-17. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 5064 and 100 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA-Dryden Flight Research Center is required within 20 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
