The Government intends to purchase on a Sole Source Basis the following items manufactured by Visicom Inc.,(1)Visicom antares board 4002 series (Type A/B/C) with Ram Fairness-VME Bus, Visicom part number 530-2208-002 (3 Each), (2)Visicom 4002 series NTDS Type E Board with Ram and VME Fairness, Visicom part number 530-2017-002 (3 Each). These items are required for the AEGIS Combat System Interface Simulation development effort. The items are to be connected to the existing DEC Alpha 8400 Systems at various AEGIS sites. These items are required to complete the simulation system to support tactical shipboard computer program testing for the AEGIS baseline 6 Phase 1 and 6 Phase 111 tactical computer programs. These items must be Visicom products to ensure operational capability and to further ensure that timing-critical interfaace paths and input/output paths are maintained and allow for downloading of open VMS function. Award to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on All or None basis. All responsible sources may submit their quote, which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va. 22448. The contractor shall provide in writing information stating they are a valid authorized distributor of Visicom, Inc. The contractor shall provide Cage Code, Dun and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification number and the published price list with their fax quote to fax number 540-653-7016 Code SD18.
