This is a "Trade-Off" (Performance Price Trade-Off) Acquisition. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. Request for Proposals, F08651-00-R-0036, is being prepared for distribution on or about 1 Jul 00. The basic performance period will be from 1 Nov 00 through 30 Oct 01, plus four one-year option periods. The deadline for receipt of proposals is on or about 1 Aug 00. Proposal closing of 1 Aug 00 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials complete in accordance with the specifications.
