The IRS will shortly be soliciting proposals to conduct investigative services, to consist of the investigative leads portion of background investigations of contractor personnel performing work for IRS and the Dept. of Treasury. Written reports of the investigations will be required. The investigations will be required to be conducted nationwide and in volume, so contractors who offer only limited geographical coverage should not respond to the solicitation. The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type contract for a period of one year with four option years, for a quantity not to exceed 10,000 hours per year.
