A -- LANGLEY'S ANNUAL SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS/UNIVERSITY OPPORTUNITIES FORUM Langley's Annual Small Disadvantaged Business/University Opportunities Forum You are invited to attend the annual Small Disadvantaged Business/University Opportunities Forum to be held Thursday, July 20, 2000, at NASA Langley Research Center's H.J.E. Reid Conference Center in Hampton, Virginia. This year's forum is a partnership among NASA Langley's Office of Procurement and Office of Education, NASA Headquarters' Office of Aeronautics and Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology, and Hampton University. This Year's Forum: This year's forum has been structured to allow even more opportunities for participants. There will be presentations by small disadvantaged businesses and minority institutions, as well as, one-on-one meetings with NASA researchers. Purpose of Forum: The purpose of the SDB/University Opportunities Forum is threefold: o To advance high tech Small Disadvantaged Business capabilities within the NASA Aeronautics Program. o To provide useful strategies for participation in technology transfer and commercialization activities. o To provide a better understanding of research opportunities available at NASA Langley Research Center. Essentially, the forum creates a rare high-level marketing opportunity for small, disadvantaged firms and minority institutions. It is an opportunity to be in front of key management, technical, and procurement personnel. We look forward to seeing you at this year's forum.
