Services are required for the renovation of a 62,000 SF aircraft hangar facility at the Springfield Air National Guard Base, Springfield, Ohio. The project includes hangar area, aircraft maintenance shops, offices, men's and women's latrines/showers/locker rooms, classrooms, conference rooms, and open administrative areas for pre-wired workstations. The renovation includes installation of new exterior insulated metal panels, and replacement of windows. Work includes replacement of the hangar door. Interior finishes include suspended ceilings, carpet tile, vinyl wall covering, and vinyl composition floor. Renovation includes installation of central air conditioning, duct work, pulse type boilers, and new Direct Digital Control system. Fire protection includes, wet pipe fire suppression system, and High Expansion Foam (HEF) in hangar bay. Electrical work includes demolition and new panels, conduit and wiring, and communications wiring to include fiberoptics. Replace low slope roof with standing seam metal roof system. The project requires limited site work, which includes extension of new 12-inch water main, sidewalks and landscaping. Demolition includes removal of existing asbestos containing materials and offsite disposal of ACM and construction debris.
