The project covered by this statement consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials, fabrications and transportation; and in completing all work to construct a new Base Supply Complex and associated site work. The new facility is approximately 33,300 SF. The project includes the demolition of five existing buildings of a total of approximately 28,874 SF masonry and metal buildings with site restoration, new work includes site work: concrete and bituminous pavements, landscaping, masonry structure with steel framed deck with built up roof construction. Interior finishes include drywall partitions, carpeting, ceramic tile, paint, folding partition, and associated bathroom lockers and plumbing equipment. Standard utilities are included. Extensive exterior communication system shall be included which encompasses both copper and fiber optic cabling. All work is located on Barnes ANG Base, Westfield, MA, and is to be accomplished in accordance with the plans and specifications and Sections A through J of the Contract. Project title is Replace Base Supply Complex. Performance period is for 390 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project is being issued on an unrestricted basis to contractors qualified to perform under SIC Code 1541 "General Contractors- Industrial Buildings and Warehouses.".
