E-MAIL: Gregory Davenport, gregory.davenport@langley.af.mil. Project consists of re-roofing and roof repairs, to various residential and non-residential buildings at Langley AFB, VA. The residential and non-residential type building roofs that will be addressed in the contract encompasses the following types: slate roof shingles, clay tile roofs, asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, pre-finished metal standing seam roofs, cooper standing seam roofs, corrugated metal roofs, coal tar pitch built-up roofing, and asphalt built-up roofing. The work also includes installation and/or repair of base sheets, ply sheets, cap and flashing sheets, galvanized flashing, cooper flashing, aluminum flashing, gutters and downspouts of various types, roof drains, replacement of wood members, trim, and roofing related products, painting of exposed wood replacement products, roof insulation, and cant strips, roof walkways and splash blocks. Demolition and removal of roofing items will encompass complete removal to a disposal site off base. Work involved with this project will be issued out as delivery orders, addressing a specific amount of work for each unit/building. Contractor will be required to furnish all plant, labor, supervision, and materials necessary to accomplish each delivery order as separate projects. The Contracting Officer will also have the option of issuing Blanket Delivery Orders (BDOs) to accomplish projects within a specific period of performance. We anticipate awarding up to three Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with one-year base period, and one one-year option period. Of these three possible contracts, one will be awarded to an 8(a) contractor (competitive). The remaining two contracts will be awarded unrestricted. The magnitude of this of project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The minimum delivery order amount is $5,000 and the maximum delivery order amount is $500,000.
