The work consists of furnishing all plants, labor, equipment, and materials for this project to include: (1) Disposal of excess materials, (2) Replace or repair corroded elements on existing bridge, strengthen existing bridge, (3) Excavate in conformance to the dimensions and elevations indicated for each building, structure, and footing as specified, (4) Repair/replacement of landscaping disturbed during excavation operations. Installation of new landscaping, (5) Install chain link fence and gates, (6) Perform structural concrete work and structural steel fabrication and erection, (7) Remove and dispose of lead based paint as specified and paint new and existing bridge and pipeline. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Performance period is 120 continuous calendar days. In conformance with FAR 19-1300 this acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than 10 days after the publication of this notice: SBA certification of HUBZone eligibility; capability statement for firm; and a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on response, the Contracting Officer will make a determination if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition, the acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition. Solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 2000, with a proposal closing date on or about1 August 2000. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1622 with an annual average gross revenue of $17.0 million for the last three (3) years. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: While funds are not presently available within Air Mobility Command to fund this project, we anticipate funds will become available by 16 November 2000. If current Fiscal Year (FY00) funds become available, contract award will be made not later than 30 September 2000. If FY00 funds are not available, this project will be funded with FY01 funds.
