The Government has a requirement for Family Housing Support Services at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, Arizona. Required services are to include but not limited to family housing operations, family housing maintenance, repair, minor construction, grounds keeping and other duties in support of family housing. These services are currently being provided as a function under a Cost Plus Award Fee Contract for Base Operations Support Services (BASEOPS). This solicitation is being issued to test the market prior to exercise of the next option under the BASEOPS contract to determine if it will be more advantageous to the Government to obtain the required support under a separate contract on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis. A complete solicitation package will be issued for these services. After all proposals have been reviewed, the government will make a determination of the most cost effective way to obtain these services. If it is more cost effective to obtain these services through a separate contract; a Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year with three (3) one-year options may be awarded to the offeror who provides the proposal that represents the best value for the Government. This acquisition shall be conducted as a 100% small business set-aside conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 "Acquisition of Commercial Items". The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8744 with a size standard of $20M. Selection of the successful offeror will be made using best value procedures.
