The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking Offerors capable of providing packaging equipment capable of removing a packet of one hundred (100) sheets of paper with a band in place around the sheets and install a tamper proof overwrap of cellophane plastic. This packet of sheets measures approximately 6.14 inches long (155 mm) X 2.615 inches wide (66 mm) X approximately 0.500 inches thick (12.7 mm). These packages will be fed at a rate of from 38 to 45 packs per minute (2700 per hour maximum). The equipment must be capable of removing the unwrapped package from the machine at an elevation of three feet (3) approximately. This must be accomplished prior to the arrival of the next package. After wrapping the package, the packet must be returned to the process at about a distance of nine inches (228 mm) from where it was originally removed.
