The work to be performed consists of furnishing a 900 gpm pumping unit assembly for the Cawker City Protective Dike which will be installed by government forces. The existing pump site is located in Mitchell County, at the town of Cawker City, Kansas. The Contractor shall deliver the pumping unit assembly to the Bureau of Reclamation's Construction and Maintenance Facilities Building at Glen Ender Dam, near Glen Eder, Kansas. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be made available on or around June 19, 2000 and quotes are tentatively due on June 29, 2000. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This will be set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3561.
