The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quote for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Crushed Rock, Draining-bedding stone and Pit Rock. This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract, Minimum guaranteed quantity is a total of 2000 cubic yards for any combination of the above items. Maximum quantity is 30,000 cubic yards. This is a Commercial Item Acquisition, FAR Part 12 applies. Rock and stone are to be picked up at batch plant by Park-owned or contracted trucks. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Requests should include the company name, address and solicitation number. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made from this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which, if timely received, will be considered. This is a 100% Set-aside for Small Business. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 4 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
