This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0238 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 20000522. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3577 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 1 each Algorithmic Pattern Generator, Brand Name or Equal, Hewlett-Packard P/N: 94819QU, designed for HP82000 Semiconductor Test System. Enables an HP82000 Semiconductor Test System to test memories. It is designed for the HP82000, and must use the HP82000 master clock and Sequencer inputs for synchronization. Initialization must be performed by an HPIB connection, and HP82000 digital driver lines must control real-time operation. This is a discontinued item and therefore, previously used products are acceptable as long as they meet manufacturer's original specifications. Delivery is required F.o.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 6 weeks after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
