The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is issuing a solicitation (#C00-0011) for the purpose of soliciting research information intended to advance the understanding of unrelated donor allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. Research proposals must address issues related to reducing complications, morbidity and/or mortality following allogeneic unrelated donor hematopoietic cell transplantation. Proposals should describe clinical investigations or translational research. Proposals addressing psychosocial issues related to stem cell transplantation and those addressing issues specific to racial and ethnic minority populations are encouraged. For planning purposes, a letter of intent is requested on or before 08/15/00. Completed applications must be received on or before 09/01/00.
