The Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific is proposing a contract
for the dockside repairs of the USCGC PT DORAN. The cutter's home
moorage is located Everett, WA. The work will be Geographical
restricted to within the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, WA.
All work will be performed at the contractor's facility. The period of
performance begins 18 September 2000 and ends 13 October 2000. The
major work items include and not limited to: Hull plating, underwater
body diver's inspection, fuel tanks clean, inspection, electric meter
(critical) calibration, pressure gauges and Thermometers (critical)
calibration, pyrometers and thermocouple (critical) calibration,
tachometers (critical) calibration, vent fans and vent ducting renewal,
main diesel engine hydraulic start system overhaul, and sewage and grey
water piping system cleaning and inspection. This solicitation will be
issued under the Small Business Demonstration Program on about 12 June

transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receiveable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
