equipment, supervision and transportation required to supply a new
35-ton straddle type boat hoist to run on the existing rail system at
U.S. Coast Guard Station Erie, PA. Project work is as follows: Provide
and install a straddle type carrier crane. The crane shall be capable
of lifting 70,000 lbs. The crane shall be capable of straddling and
carrying the United States Coast Guard boats identified in the
technical portion of this scope of work (not identified here).
Principal work items shall encompass: 1. Provide and install straddle
type carrier crane. 2. Load test. 3. Provide training for use of crane.
The period of performance is 60 days after Notice to Proceed. This
procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is
open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC code for this
procurement is 1629. Due dates for bids will be not less than 30 days
