The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision and equipment required to complete the proposed project at the 174 FW, Hancock Field, Syracuse, NY in strict compliance with plans and specifications supplied by the Government. The overall scope of work includes the construction of a 25,700 square foot Communications-Electronics Complex, and construction of a 12,500 square foot Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) facility. The project also includes the replacement of existing overhead electrical and communication distribution system with an underground plant, upgrading water distribution system, and installation of storm drainage. The contractor will be responsible for all site work, subsurface drainage, utility connections, parking areas, demolition, and landscaping. The construction schedule and all elements of the project will be closely coordinated with the Base Civil Engineer. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The anticipated construction performance period is 330 calendar days after acknowledgement of Notice to Proceed. IFB DAHA30-00-B-0004 will be issued on or about 28 June 2000, with a bid opening date of on or about 28 July 2000. A pre-bid conference will be held at the 174 FW, Base Civil Engineering Office, Hancock Field, Syracuse, NY with the date and time to be determined. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) applicable to this project is 1542. This solicitation is unrestricted, all responsible parties may submit a bid.
