This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-00-Q-0162 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502(a), the Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside and this requirement is unrestricted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 2000522. The standard industrial code is 3499 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- 50 each Center Conductor Fabrication in accordance with Raytheon Drawing #444408-1. The following is a brief description of the requirements associated with the fabrication: Gold plate .0002 thick per MIL-E-45204, Type III, GR A, CL 3 with the following exception to paragraph 6.3 of MIL-G-452041, Nickel or silver strikes or underplate shall not be used. Bake per MIL-G-45204 para 4.5.2.3. Heat treat per MIL-H-7199 after brazing and prior to plating. Use controlled atmosphere to prevent surface finish deterioration, only item 5 must be temper H. Assy shall have No. indication of leakage when air pressure tested at 150 PSI. CLIN 0002 10 each Line Sections Fabrication in accordance with Raytheon Drawing #1037586-1. The following is a brief description of the requirements associated with the fabrication: Interpret drawing per DOD-D-1000. Maintain sharp edges on inside DIA and break sharp edges outside 0.15 max. Surface texture per ANSI B45.1. Chemical film per MIL-C-5541, CL 3. Mark .09 nominal high characteristics including part REV letter approx as shown using contrasting color ink Per 152505. Alternate construction: braze per MIL-B-7883, type V, Grade B. Braze joints shall not break into central 1.524 1.530 DIA bore. All dimensions apply after plating. CLIN 0003 10 each Line Section Fabrication in accordance with Raytheon drawing #1037587-1. The following is a brief description of the requirements associated with the fabrication: Material AL ALY 6061-T6 Per QQ-A-225/8. Finish Chemical film per MIL-C-5541, CL 3. Break sharp edges 0.10 Max. Surface texture per ANSI B46.1 Screw threads per MIL-S-7742.
