painting, hatch installation, plus miscellaneous other hull and
machinery repairs. Overall length of 65', beam of 16', displacement 34
tons. Work includes drydocking, cleaning and painting the hull,
cleaning the interior compartments and tanks, and miscellaneous repairs
per the specifications. The government will deliver the vessel to a
distance not more than eight hours sailing time from Caven Point
Terminal, Jersey City, N.J. Estimated value $30,000 to $50,000. Prior
to any award, the successful bidder will be required to enter into a
Master Agreement for Repairs and Alterations of Vessels. Bidders that
entered into the Agreement prior to this solicitation need not comply
with this requirement. This is a small business set-aside, SIC 4499,
for no more than average $5mil gross revenues over the past three
years. Quotes are due by 23 June 2000. To be eligible for award,
bidders must comply as follows: DFARS 52.204.7004 "Required Central
Contractor Registration" (CCR): Prospective contractors must be
registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database
prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an
offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration and
