The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure thirteen (13) each Cylinder Heads, P/N 3922587, to be placed into ELC Inventory. The Government intends to solicit and award a simplified acquisition to Cummins Engine Company and/or their authorized distributors only! The Cylinder Heads will be placed into ELC Inventory as replacement parts for the 49' BUSL boats. It is believed that only Cummins Engine can provide these Cylinder Heads. However, other potential sources may submit information concerning their capabilities in supplying this item. Conmcerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability by submitting the following information: (1) Data that the item offered has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer, which includes complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the item (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics); and (2) Data that the item has been previously provided to the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
