This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0251 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502(a), the Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside and this requirement is unrestricted. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 20000522. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3669 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 5 each Antennas, Airtron Division Litton Systems' Part Number 461356. This requirement is sole sourced to the manufacturer, Litton Systems, Airtron Division, Morris Plains, New Jersey. The Government does not own the level three drawings necessary for the fabrication of the requirement. Delivery is required F.o.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
