This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-00-Q-0239 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 2000522. The standard industrial code is 3679 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- 25 ea filter, band pass IAW drawing package. All interested companies shall request drawing package by sending an e-mail to noel_k@crane.navy.mil. All drawing packages must be requested no later than 21 June 2000 to ensure adequate time to review the drawings. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award.
