Abalos, Purchasing Agent, 619/532-8084, Mike Nye, Contracting Officer, 619/532-8088 The Naval Medical Center San Diego is seeking sources that can provide fluid warmers and disposable drapes. The machine will be used in an operating room setting to warm and cool sterile solutions. The machine must contain two (2) basins that might have the ability to be detached from one another and become two (2) units. The warming basin warms sterile irrigation solution and can hold up to approximately four (4) liters of fluid. The slush or cooling basin of the unit cools the sterile irrigation solution, creates ice or slush and can hold up to six (6) liters of solution. The center of the slush basin moves up and down to facilitate making ice/slush. One sterile drape is used to cover both basins and create a sterile field for the irrigation solutions. Warmer temperature ranges from room temperature to 120 degrees F (49C). Slush or cooling basin temperature ranges from freezing to 100 degrees F. This is a request for product information only.
