NASA/SSC intends to purchase from RC Electronics, Inc. twenty-five (25) each, High Impedance AC Amplifier, Model 6686A, and two (2) each, System Chassis for 6686A, Model 6638/R. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide the equipment in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on June 28, 2000 to include: descriptive literature of the offered products, unit prices, total price, availability, warranty, business size, CAGE Code, Taxpayer ID Number, FOB Point, invoice terms, and commercial published price lists of the offered products. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full andopen competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
