The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for Assessment of Hypervelocity Impact Technology and Applications. The contractor will provide a database of research and researchers in the area of hypervelocity impact technology and its applications. (2) Review the manuscripts submitted to the symposium and develop a program based on the submitted manuscripts. (3) Host the 2000 Hypervelocity Impact Symposium at Galveston Texas in November 2000. (4) Compile the manuscripts submitted at the symposium for final publication. Develop a final assessment of the international activities in hypervelocity impact research.
