The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) attempt is to award this simplified acquisition as a sole source to the University of California at Davis, CA. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)has a requirement for Radiation Source test time at the UNC Davis Cyclotron Test Facilities to include the following Tasks:(1) UC Davis shall provide (DTRA) with one week of testing at the UC Davis Cyclotron Facility to test and evaluate new focal plane array technologies. (2) UC Davis will provide additional support as needed to ensure successful integration of the contractor test objects into the Cyclotron Test Facility. Appropriate and unique UC Davis Radiation Diagnostics and Beam Control Technology will be provided on these tests to supplement those provided by (DTRA) contractors in order to characterize the radiation environment.
