955-8277 The United States Army Aviation and Missile Command Utility
Halicopter Project Manager's Office (UH PMO) is seeking potential
sources for the development and integration of the UH-60Q medical Suite
Trainer (MST). The MST will be used to train flight medics to treat,
stabilize, and care for patients while in flight. The MST will permit
realistic training conditions and allow instructors to witness and
record student flight medic activities. The MST will be a full
functioning electro-mechanical mock-up that realistically replicates
the UH-60Q Mission Equipment Package used in the medical suite. The
Government will furnish a UH-60 cabin. The Contractor shall refurbish
the cabin as a stand-alone structure. The contractor shall convert the
Government furnished medical suite cabin area components to standard
facility power and integrate the equipment into the structure. In
addition to the cabin interior, the contractor will install an external
hoist providing the student medic the capability to load patientsfrom
ground level into the cabin. The effort will require the design and
integration of an observation deck, audio system, video system,
simulated oxygen system, 110V electrical system, and a vibration system
which replicates the UH-60 mechanical response. The effort will require
development of an operator's manual, a safety certification, and
initial spares. The contractor shall develop plans and identify key
decision points that address design, development, integration, and test
of the trainer. Submission Requirements: Interested sources should send
