Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole
source procurement with Novaflux Technologies to conduct cleaning of
submersible membrane modules. This evaluation is needed to support an
on going task for developing a non-oily wastewater shipboard membrane
treatment system. The contractor will foul and clean four government
furnished filter modules during the developmental phase of the
evaluation. The same method will be validated by cleaning an additional
four government furnished filter modules that were fouled by Carderock
Division Naval Surface Warfare Center. A simulated foulant, such as
synthetic graywater, will be used to conduct the developmental phase
experiments, which are required to optimize the cleaning process. Only
one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy
agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated
