The Program Support Center on behalf of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to National TASC, 1911 N. Fort Meyer Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, Virginia 22209. Organizing and implementing the 7th Annual National TASC Conference held at the Radisson Universal Studios Hotel, Orlando Florida on October 22-25, 2000. The conference shall be a forum for exchange of ideas and a showcase for the state-of-art technology and information on offender management, drug treatment programming, drug courts, re-entry courts, research, management and managed care issues. The conference shall be organized into plenary sessions, media panels, panel discussions, training workshops, scheduled tour of model treatment programs on site, and a poster session. SAMHSA is a co-sponsor of the National TASC Conference. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued.
