The Army intends to negotiate a supplemental agreement with McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) Limited, under Contract No. DACW83-99-C-0001, TA'U ROAD PHASE III IMPROVEMENTS, TA'U ISLAND, AMERICAN SAMOA. A Justification & Approval citing U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, has been approved. The work involves providing labor, material, equipment field sketches, and revised drawings as necessary to construct approximately 2.3 miles of additional road to the 4.3 miles of road currently being constructed. McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) Limited, the proposed sole source contractor, currently has the construction contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to construct the initial 4.3 miles of Ta'u Road.
