alteration to the Male and Female Dormitory HVAC and associated systems
at the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center located in Callicoon, New York.
The work involves, but is not limited to, soffit modifications,
ductwork removals and upgrades, combustion air upgrades, reheat coil
and hydronic systems upgrades, and power upgrades. The period of
performance for construction is 336 calendar days from receipt of
notice to proceed through completion of the project. The estimated cost
range of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Initial
Plans and Specifications will be available on June 30, 2000, only from
the Architect/Engineer firm of Delta Engineers, P.C., 164 Count
Street, Binghamton, New York 13901-3514. Contact Mr. Richard Sanguinito
(607) 724-1367, extension 24, for additional information. Collect calls
will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for plans and
specifications should be directed to the A/E firm listed above to
ensure proper handling of requests. Request will be limited to the
issuance of one complete set per request from any interested party.
Plans and specifications will be made available for pick up at the
A/E's office, or may be arranged for delivery at an additional charge.
Any additional shipping and/or handling charges must be pre-paid and
COD request will not be accepted. Requests must be in writing and will
be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until the initial
supply is exhausted. For additional sets requested by interested
parties, or for requests made after the initial supply is exhausted, a
non-refundable fee not to exceed the actual cost of reproduction of
the IFB documents (to be determined by the Contracting Officer,) plus
a shipping charge based on each individual request (if applicable) will
be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. Pre-Bid Walk-Thru is
scheduled for July 18, 2000, at 10:00 A.M. (Local) at the Center. This
will be the only organized opportunity to review the job site priorto
submission of bids. Bid-Opening is scheduled for August 1, 2000, at
2:00 P.M. (Local) at the A/E's office. [NOTE: THIS IS A 100% SMALL
BUSINESS SET ASIDE ACQUISITION. The Standard Industrial Classification
(SIC) code for this acquisition is 1542. The Small Business Size
