Work for all CLINS must be performed In Accordance With the plans, specifications, and Drawings for this project. The government reserves the right to award Optional CLINS at time of Contract Award or up to 90 days after the Contract Award Date. Optional CLINS can be awarded all, some in any combination, or none, based on available funding and the Government's Best Interest. The response date of 06 July 2000 remains in effect per Amendment 02 dated 05 June 2000. All other conditions of this Synopsis remain unchanged as listed below. Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to Alter/Repair Chapel I, building 1620, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: construct the East building side addition (6 New Chapel Offices, Choir Room, and Corridor), and the West side building addition (Main Entrance, Vestibule, 2 Storage Rooms, Lobby, Vestry, Men and Women Restrooms, Brides Room and Corridor), and all repair work described in the plans and specifications. This is a Request for proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract herein is unrestricted. The closing date and time for submission of offerors will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov/. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholders list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The planholder list will also be maintained on and may be printed from the EPS website.
