The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to complete construction work under Project PQWY 01-4004 entitled CNO1 RPR JRNCO QTRS, at McChord AFB Washington. Work includes: (1) Provide new rigid vinyl siding and perforated vinyl soffits to the exterior of thirteen duplexes and seven detached carport structures with storage areas; 2) Provide new gutters and downspouts; 3) Paint exposed exterior wood to match vinyl siding; 4) replace exterior/interior doors and frames; 5) Replace windows; 6) Replace gypsum wallboard at ceilings and walls; 7) Replace wood trim; 8) Enlarge one bathroom and provide shower stall, provide vanities, cabinets, and finishes in two bathrooms; 9) Relocate laundry facilities; 10) Provide new finishes throughout housing units; 11) Replace electric baseboard heating units with new electric, recessed mounting type wall heaters with fan forced air circulation; 12) Replace existing plumbing fixtures; 13) Replace electrical system. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable SIC Code is 1522 with a size standard of an annual average revenue of $17,000,000 over three years. In conformance with FAR 19.1300 this acquisition is being considered for a Hubzone set-aside. If your firm is Hubzone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of Hubzone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm, and (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on response the Contracting Officer will make a determination; if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition the acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition. The period of performance is 365 calendar days. Note: "While funds are not presently available within Air Mobility Command to fund this project, we anticipate funds to become available by 16 Nov 00. If current fiscal year (FY00) funds become available, contract award will be made not later than 30 Sep 00. If FY00 funds are not available, this project will be funded with FY01 funds.
