Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment,
transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for site
improvements at USCG Family Housing, located on Signal Rock Road, North
Kingstown, RI (Washington County). Work includes the construction of a
curtain drain (approximately 800 lineal foot) connecting to existing
storm system with a connector pipe approximately 200 feet long. System
includes 2 drain manholes and 5 catch basins. Work to be done along
the edge of an existing public roadway. Replace 11 water service
laterals each approximately 80 feet long with new meters on each run.
Following installation of drains and water services, install new
asphalt overlay (approximately 3000 SY) and new asphalt berms
(approximately 500 LF). Estimated cost of this project is between
$100,000 and $250,000 dollars. SIC code is 1623. Solicitation packages

The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
