We are seeking SOURCE INFORMATION ONLY -- NO PRICES, for the procurement and installation of a new Morotola CentraCom console to be installed in the new main fire station communications center at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Motorola Brand communications equipment is required. Sources must have ability to handle the entire project. The following is the Statement of Work for this project: A. CENTRACOM CONSOLE -- System needs to support a two person operator concept -- duplicate work stations. -- Operate using a normal 120 volt (50/60 cycle) power supply, and compatible with government owned back-up generator and UPS power supply. -- Centrally house all phones, radios, switches, buttons, and all other items listed in this SOW. -- All items functioning through the CentraCom Console require Manufacture_s labeling. -- Capable of broadcasting over radios & P.A. systems simultaneously with multi select functions for selecting net of choice. -- Provide a minimum of 2 base station radios on site at each work station with external antenna and the following capabilities: -- Primary radio to handle Fire Crash Net only with applicable functions (repeater channel). -- Backup radio to handle twenty nets which are non-repeater nets or direct access only functions when repeater is down, and to have a display unit and mode switch to change net easily. -- Phone and radio patch capability to patch any net into the phone system and vice versa. -- Space to house a Dictaphone Recorder, and Monaco Fire Alarm System. -- Provide head sets and connections for both radio and phone operations working through the same connection providing the operator a choice of function, either phone, radio or both. -- Wire connect radio net for five agencies with separate control unit for each with function to be multi-selected along with other net as stated above and all applicable functions. -- Hands free operation and foot pedal operation for radio & phone communication. -- Light control switches, (7 total) with on or off light indicator capability to turn on or off 6 individual areas and 1 master that turns on all 6 areas on at once. -- Door control switches, opening only (15 total) with light indicator of door open or closed, individual control over each stall door and one master to raise all doors simultaneously. -- Door control switch and any necessary hardware to open or release front door of fire station when door is locked or secured. -- Traffic Stop light on and off switch with indicator light showing on or off position and warning device when unit has been left on longer than 30 seconds. -- House chime or dispatching tone that goes over both radio and P.A. system simultaneously. -- Second tone or Emergency Traffic Tone which is distinctly different than the dispatch tone that goes over the Fire Crash & Tac Fire Nets. -- Incorporate TOA (Japanese Brand Name) public address amplifier into the CentraComm console. Must integrate with existing P.A. systems at Fire Station 2 (947) and Fire Station 3 (1940). Functions needed are individual control of each station and all stations at once. Also needs to handle functions listed above (house chimes). -- Purchase and install into console a new 24 channel Dictaphone Voice recorder with capabilities to record all radio and telephone line. -- CentraCom Console to have separate volume control over selected or unselected items, capabilities to listen to both to include dual speaker function. -- Digital clocks and timer unit for each work station -- Provide two (3 drawer) undercounter pedestal -- Provide one (4 drawer) letter file cabinet B. TELEPHONE ITEMS -- Provide 58 Motorola telephone equipment compatible with base telephone infrastructure (Switch Nortel DMS-100) system. -- 2 dead phone (push to talk) full featured telephones for the CentraCom console (dual work station). -- 110 button telephone work station incorporated within the CentraCom console 30 agency direct hot lines, 1 Primary Crash phone line withcapability to simultaneously broadcast over phone on console and P.A. system, 1 Secondary Crash telephone (no PA interface), 3 911 telephone lines with automatic number identification, 6 admin lines, 7 private lines. -- 28 full featured (35 button) telephones throughout office areas. Full feature telephones must have the following capability: (1) Redial, (2) Hands Free operation, (3) Access to PA system, (4) Transfer capability, (5) Conference call capability, (6) Inter comm capable, and (7) Hold button (with music background capability). -- 28 limited feature (Inter Comm only) telephones for bunkrooms. C. RADIO ITEMS -- All radios to be trunking capable with Motorola Astro Saber with DES XL/OFB and smart net digital common air interface as a minimum. D. LABOR/INSTALLATION/TRAINING -- Provide all tools, equipment, parts, materials and expertise necessary to accomplish all stated requirements. After installation, all equipment must function to the capabilities listed above. -- All travel expenses to be incurred by contractor, to include transportation, lodging, and meals. -- Upon completion of installation, all equipment and associated labor shall be warranted for a minimum of 1 (One) year by the contractor. -- All material to be on site by 1 Jan 01 with installation completed by 30 April 01. -- Provide on-site console operations/maintenance training to five fire department and two LMR Posted 06/14/00 (D-SN464888).
