The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has a requirement to provide instrumentation and test support in the areas of special weapons effects, survivable structures and systems, and systems safety assessments. This support includes all aspects of planning, operation, maintenance, conducting, managing, fabricating, modifying, deploying & fielding, testing and reporting of test results using DTRA's equipment and other specialized test support items, located primarily at Kirtland AFB, White Sands Missile Range, National Test Site in Nevada, and other locations as directed by DTRA. The major end items of this acquisition are test support and test data. This is a follow-on contract to DNA001-96-C-0043. This is an unrestricted procurement. The solicitation for this effort will be issued on or about 29 June 2000. DTRA anticipates issuing a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract. Contractors must be cleared at the Secret level. The estimated period of performance will be sixty (60) months. The solicitation will be issued via e-mail.
