The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk -- Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, for the Naval Sea Logistics Center -- Mechanicsburg PA -- through full and open competition, support services for equipment removal, site preparation, fabrication, relocation, installation, maintenance, overhaul, modernization, logistics support and/or technical assistance in support of DoD and other Government agencies' technical equipment. Location and Commands to be supported hereunder are located throughout the United States; Sasebo, Japan; and Naples and Gaeta, Italy. The required effort will need to be performed under an indefinite delivery- indefinite quantity time and materials type contract consisting of a base year plus three one year options. For evaluation purposes, the offeror's technical proposal will be considered more important than their cost proposal, and the solicitation will provide for multiple awards pursuant to FAR 16.5. The Government will reserve the right to issue orders on a time and material or a fixed price basis. The total estimated number of hours for the base period are 181,230; for options one and two 255,780 each; and 127,890 for the third option period.
